HANCOCK -- Volunteers with?Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly?have been working hard all week in preparation for this weekend's Easter celebration.
On Friday people were counting and cutting the hundreds of flowers which will be given out to all seniors receiving a meal.
As usual Little Brothers will provide more than a thousand holiday meals through their sit-down dinner sites and hot-meal deliveries.
They’ll also give out small Easter baskets filled with candy.
“There are a few places that need help in the kitchens, we really need help delivering hot meals in Laurium, and we're very short on desserts too,” says volunteer program coordinator Cathy Aten. ?“If you can't help on Easter and want to do something ahead of time, we're looking for desserts.”
