More than 1,500 people gathered for food, desserts and drinks at the 10th annual The Event hosted Sunday by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tucson at La Encantada.
Since 1963 the organization has provided Tucson youth with extracurricular activities and programs that help encourage and develop self-esteem, values and morals.
Forty-eight local restaurants provided guests with samples and several wine distributors offered wine tastings while live music from several bands played throughout the evening.
"I've been coming to this for the past couple of years," said Garrett McCrory. "It's a great event to come try food from all over Tucson in one spot, and it's all for a good cause."
